Ayeyarwaddy International School educates the whole child—body, mind, and spirit. We embrace field trips as opportunities for our students to see, feel, and experience their learning not just within our brick and mortar facility, but in the world outside as well.
AIS teachers and students take numerous educational field trips aligned to our curriculum, bringing classroom lessons to life, and encouraging our students to make real-life connections to their classroom learning. Whether it is a short jaunt to a local vendor or establishment to learn how to make pizza or operate a retail business, an encounter with fire fighters, an experience in a zoological garden, or a hiking trek through breathtaking country with waterfalls, to international travel to Singapore, the United States, and beyond, our students experience the beauty not only in their own backyard, but in the yards of their global neighbors, and learn the value of cooperation, collaboration, and cultural awareness.
