One of the many things that makes AIS a special school, is the after-school programs. Each of the foreign teachers at AIS supports the after-school programs by hosting either a club or a team. Students may sign up for a different club or team each day of the week in order to gain skills for becoming a global citizen. The programs also allow students important social time in which they learn teamwork and collaborative skills. The clubs provide students with a fun way to challenge or showcase a variety of skills, academically and physically, and artistically. Examples of popular clubs at the school include football club, rollerskating club, puppet club, newspaper club, student council, and world scholars cup. AIS strives to provide students with opportunities that will transform them into well-rounded, influential citizens, and the after-school programs help to achieve this.
