Founded in 2011, AIS is the only K-12 international school in Upper Myanmar that is based on the American curriculum and that offers AP courses. We are passionate about providing a high-quality education to our community. We are also proud to be among the four WASC-accredited schools in Myanmar.
AIS is a student-centered school, which adjusts in order to meet the needs of our students. Our emphasis is on the development of the whole child. AIS students are encouraged to be critical thinkers, strong readers, and, most importantly, lifelong learners. Our extracurricular activities - including clubs and international leadership training camps - promote global awareness and prepare our students to be future leaders of the world.
As a parent of two children (one a graduate from the Class of 2018 and another a high school student), I understand the importance of finding the right school that suits your child.
