Recently, AIS was proud to host the US Ambassador to Myanmar, Scot Marciel as he visited our wonderful campus to meet our students and teachers. Ambassador Marciel was able to visit several classrooms and see our students hard at work. After school hours the ambassador held a town hall style meeting with AIS American teachers as well as Americans living in Mandalay. We were happy to host this visit and cherish our close ties with the US Embassy and Ambassador Marciel.
